Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the answers to the questions we get asked most. If your question isn't on here use the contact us form, we'll be happy to help.
-
What types of project do you support? We support a wide range of projects from small projects, such as helping your team create a 6 or 12-month plan of activity or redesigning a single process, right up to restructuring, operational service redesign, system implementations and transformation programmes. If it has a goal, and people involved we can help manage it.
-
Can you work with our existing tools or templates?Absolutely! We're flexible and can work with your preferred tools, whether that's MS project, Planner, Trello, a spreadsheet or some other application.
-
Do you offer full project management support or just short term consultancy? We offer both. We can help you lead and manage your project from end-to-end, tailoring the support to the phase of the project, or we can provide targeted support such as planning, kick-off sessions, creating your plan, facilitating lessons learnt or project recovery reviews.
-
How flexible is your support? We offer support either ad hoc or from a few hours a week up to several days, depending on the needs of your project and budget.
-
What if my project is already under way?No problem. We can step in at any stage, whether you are just creating the business case, at initial planning phase or are underway and need help getting things back on track.
-
What project management methodology do you use? With training in PRINCE2, supported by significant experience using internal project methodology, we can tailor our approach to the complexity and context of your project. If you already have an internal methodology for managing projects, we're happy to use that too.
-
What if we already have internal project managers? That's great! We can compliment your internal team providing additional capacity, specialist expertise or an external perspective, whatever is needed to support your success.
-
What does change management actually involve?Change management focuses on helping your people adopt new ways of working. It can include creating strategies, communication planning and delivery, training, stakeholder engagement and more.
-
Can you tailor your change management support to our organisation?Yes. As the change is unique to your organisation and its existing culture, whilst we use standard change management tools and techniques, our change support is bespoke, designed around your people, culture and goals.
-
Do you offer support for system and process changes? We do. If you don't implement systems often, it's easy to forget that the supplier only supplies the system and some go-live support. We help you with all the preparation, including the change impact assessment, process redesign activity, training needs analysis and even training design and delivery. All of which is key to making your implementation successful.
-
Can you train our team to manage change internally?Yes, we offer training such as leading teams through change, coaching to help develop individual capability and a 12 week 'Get Change Ready' support programme, all designed to help you build internal change management skill.
-
How early should we involve change management in our project?Ideally, from the very beginning. Starting your change management activity early helps you understand any impacts, assess risks and align your people strategy with the project goals. Where possible, including employees in defining the change will help reduce resistance and increase the chances of long-term adoption.
-
What if we already have internal change managers? That's great! We can compliment your internal team providing additional capacity, specialist expertise or an external perspective, whatever is needed to support your success.
-
What types of training do you offer? We design and deliver training on change and project management, leadership, engagement and HR topics. We also facilitate workshops to kick off projects, collate lessons learnt and map and redesign processes.

So if you need the training to cover specific content or a totally bespoke strategy day designing and delivering for your leadership team or a team building event we can support you.
-
Do you deliver training in person or online? Both. We can facilitate sessions face-to-face or virtually, whichever works best for your team.

We offer flexible packages from as little as £600+VAT for a half-day group training session. It means that you can still deliver meaningful support even if the budget is tight.
-
What is included in your outplacement packages?Depending on the package, support can range from just having a CV rewritten up to a more comprehensive package including a CV, LinkedIn Profile review, interview preparation, career coaching and profiling tools to help understand strengths.
-
Do you offer support remotely?Yes. All our services can be delivered virtually, making it easy for us to support your employees wherever they are based.
-
What are the benefits of outplacement support? It shows your employees you care, even during difficult times. It helps your employees move forward with confidence by providing practical and impartial advice from expert career coaches and CV writers who have supported people through this type of transition many times before. It also protects your employer brand, reduces the risk of negative sentiment from the employees exiting and those remaining and supports a smoother, more respectful exit process.
